Variables: NEXT_MATCH,NEXT_MATCH_ICON are re-implemented. These variables are now updated whenever you retrieve matches with the "Get recent matches" option selected. Note that you won't see the change immediately after you set the orders in hattrick for the first time, since it takes several minutes for the cached match list xml to be refreshed. Bug fixes: Wrong player personality attributes. When some time passes between downloads of data/matches, data doesn't actually get downloaded , and you need to restart poli in order to download. New version has been released. What's new? * From now on you have to input security code instead of password. In case you will still provide password instead of security code, login will fail. If you do this couple of times your team might get locked. Sure, you will be able to unlock it, but you don't probably want to have that problems. * Bug with team name (it sometimes displays HIDDEN) in the title bar of HTPoli is fixed. * Most of the charts now have correct x axis. Couple of charts (those with bars) were not changed because due to non-constant distance between bars (bars were starting to overlap each other). 04. October 2004. It means that most of the functions will be free (at this point all of the functions). In the future I might add some server side functions (or client side functions), for which you will have to pay some fee. But at this point everything is free. However, it still takes my time to develope HTPoli and update it, so I still appreciate if you could donate some amount even if it is free. In addition if you donate you will be entitled to email support. So, once again. You can use HTPoli for free. There is no limitation now, there might be some in the not so distant future. However, you can still pay 7.5 EUR and you will help developing HTPoli, features and get email support for one year. Also by paying this 7.5 EUR you will also get access to the features that will be available only to those who pay. These features has to be developed yet. Notice the difference: 7.5 EUR is now annual fee (for one year). This is due to the fact that for server side features I have to pay for the server every month. 02. July 2004. Fix for Hattrick 6.6.2 has been released. This is build 502. 17. June 2004. After two months of silence there is a new version. Because of recent changes at Hattrick (version 6.6 released), this version was released a little too early, however I am sure you will like the new stuff. So, here is what's new: Added variable IN_LINEUP, you can use it to add squads from players in certain lineup. Added variable TSI (for Total Skill Index, obviously). Support for Hattric 6.6: New ratings and TSI. In match viewer you can now find user or team, no need to know teamID. Formulas (or subformulas or parameters if you like to call it that way) Transfer History window (click on entry in this window and in player details you'll see player's data at the time of transfer) Economy window (clik on entry in this window, and you'll see what transfers you had that week) Match highlights (in the "Match details" window, click on the event and you'll get text description of the event) Export Match ID's (simple but important feature if you want to reload all your matches) Improved arena calculator (added cost and income) Match details will now display your and opponents tactic type and tactic skill Scroller for results in match viewer. Match reports are now downloaded automatically Internal change how "Colour changes" is handled. Under training tab, when clicking on player, his data is updated in other windows Clicking on player in main window will show you player's name in tooltip Remember this is BETA version, so make sure you backup your HattrickPoli.dat file somewhere. Since there have been changes in ratings, you will probably have to redownload all matches. There is a simple procedure how to do this: 1) Export your match IDs (File menu) 2) Delete all your matches 3) Download all matches again (provide the file you created with export) 07. April 2004. There have been some changes in the Hattrick (they changed some IPs), which caused some problems with getting HRF files (and other data) from Hattrick. This has been fixed in the build 413. I have also added result prediction tool (F11), and warning on coach decay. So, this is new: Login problems fixed. You can not choose server (IP) any more, this is now done automatically. Result prediction tool. It is located in the League Analyzer (F11). You can see how HTPoli predicts your already played games, and you can predict your next game based by ratings you set. Warning on coach decay. When your coach moves from solid to passable (or any other negative change), yo uwill be warned. Warning occures when you download HRF file. 10. March 2004. Lately there have been some problems with logging into Hattrick. I currently don''t know what the problem is but I am working on it. Please be patient. A couple of people provided wrong email when they registered so I was unable to send registration keys to those users. If you are one of those that haven't received their registration key please send me email to goran.nagy@siol.net. In case you are interested you can join HTPoli CHPP conference. Right now there is a poll about new features. If you join you can actively participate in designing new features in HTPoli. Build 412. News? HTPoli now supports IRC chat. Instead of proprietary chat, it connects to IRC. Now, while watching games, you will be able to chat to others who don't use HTPoli. Couple of IRC channels are predefined, but you can add your own. Go to Online|Get player's images, and copy/paste HTML code from Hattrick's players page. All images are supplied with the installation, so there will be no additional download. Of course, I might have missed aan image or two, in which case your player will appear for example without the nose, or eyes, maybe he will even be feceless. In that case let me know and I will download missing image. Get HRF file page changed a bit. You can now stop the download, and there should be no need to exit HattrickPoli, once the login failed. Possibility to set season to all charts at the time. Docking tabs can now be at the top or at the bottom. Use Options|Display to set that option. What's new? Small change in the match viewer. Match reports now have match titles and result. Matchdetails.asp now uses XML format. This means there should not be any problems with match retrieval. However, this XML does not contain data about match report, so for now (until I found better solution) you will have to update match report manually. Fixed small bug when savin window sizes. Before you install this version please backup your HattrickPoli.dat file. 06. January 2004. New beta version released (build 406). What's new? Docking. This took quite a lot of time to implement. For some it will be quite usefull, and for some it won't be usefull at all. Anyway, it's here, so enjoy it if you like it. New match viewer. It also uses docking. Also there are two other windows: Summary (like in old viewer) and Results. You can change training type. In the trainings window right click with mouse button, and select new training type. Some internal fixes to trainings Before you install this version please backup your HattrickPoli.dat file. Oh yes, if you have been using workspaces, you will unfortunatelly lose them. This docking feature is so different from what used to be before, that I was unable to preserve workspaces. But I am sure you will quickly recreate them. 07. November 2003. New beta version released. What's new? Match details window has new look. Since soon there will be no HTML match parsing I decided there is no need for match editing. I removed it (except in the Other tab), and made it look more like Hattrick. You can click on the player's name to bring out his details. Also you can see opponent's lineup, but you'll have to retrieve your matches again to do so. Since hattrick is a game, I decided to add one toy to the HTPoli myself. In the match details window there is tab named 'Lineup toy'. Just select a match and press 'Draw' button. Note that it's advised to have fast computer. Some totally basic printing capabilities added. Final version 4 should have reports editor included. Lately there have been couple of people who had problems with Poli (coudn't start it, or Poli hanged after some time, or something like that) I have made some changes to HTPoli, and that could help. You should all try this new buid. If it still doesn't work, let me know. What's next? I will now focus on bugs, and fixing translations. Also I will add some minor enhancement to training. In the menatime I hope XML will be available for all match pages. When it's available, I will add that and then release final version 4. 28. October 2003. Due to some bugs and constant changes in Hattrick, there's yet another release. Some TEAM_ variables have optional parameter which is squad name or another expression. For example: TEAM_FORM('age<20') will display average form of players younger than 20 years. Another example would be TEAM_VALUE('SquadName') where SquadName is name of one of your squads. This would display total value of your SquadName squad. However remember that using this feature too much can slow down custom charts. Opponents matches feature is back. It is located in the 'League analyzer'. You can automatically download up to 8 matches (4 of them will probably be friendly games, or cup). If you want more, you will have to get them one by one by providing ID Two new statistics: Weeks trained and Skill increases. Look for them in the new windows called Training (F8). 'Training' stats is moved to the Training window Some bugs fixed. There were two really serious (one with match retrieval and one with trainings) 25. October 2003. I have fixed some bugs with match retrieval with languages other than English. Also 'Get recent matches' feature has been added. Please download build 403. 21. October 2003. New beta build of HTPoli has been released. It's labeled 402. The MOST IMPORTANT news is that HTPoli finally includes automatic match download. It offers 3 different modes: download last match, downlaod match with ID, and download all matches whose ID's you provide in a text file (one ID per line). Here is list of all news: Automatic download of matches Export data - first you have to define Export definition (like view) then you can use that definition for quich exporting of data in the future Workspaces - this allows you to save size and position of windows. You can have unlimited workspacs, for example one for seting lineups, one for instecting training result, one for analyzing opponents...well you get the point: one for each task. You can quickly switch between views in the Workspaces menu. Number of players in a custom charts is increased to 10. Since match download requires 2 files to be downloaded, and only one of them is in XML format, you still have to set your Hattrick language and HTPoli language correctly. Remember this is still beta (and due to number of changes in the Hattrick will remain so for some time), I suggest you backup your HattrickPoli.dat file, before you save data. I have removed some stuff that remained from version that was not CHPP (for example posibility to create TM views). Also, I have added some new features. Added match viewer. It doesn't support sounds yet, but it colorizes the players. Home team with one color, and away team with another color. Also, summary window is on the right side of the matches, so actually you don't even have to slick on matches tabs. In custom charts you can use TEAM variables In custom charts you can display up to 5 different players, so this way you can actually compare players. Hopefully this two additions will make charts much more usefull. Some improvements to charts will come in the future. In the dialogs where you input expression, there is new button 'Variables' which lists all variables including short description. Although final date when old version of HTPoli becomes illegal by Hattrick is 16. October, I suggest you download this new version and test it. Please do NOT translate this HTPoli. I decided I will rewrite how translation works, so I won't have so much work with it. October 2003. :-(( There has been many news in the last couple of days, but all in all there are two major changes. Current HTPoli will be illegal in about two weeks, and you will have to download new CHPP compliant version. Another big news is that HTPoli will become fully shareware. Auch....I know everybody will bash on me now, but I see no alternative. I know I did say that HTPoli will always have free basic features, but given what happend recently (things that are not in my hands), I see no alternative. I really wanted to provide free features to those who can not afford to pay 5 EUR (although I think there are not lot of such people). My idea was to provide basic features for free, and create lots of cool features for supporters. Now that most of those cool features (TM helper, HattrickBrowser, setting lineups, opponents matches, favourites, ...) are taken away, I see no reason why people would register any more. I still think 5 EUR (7,5 EUR if paid over the internet) is not much. Another reason is that people still use cracked versions of HTPoli, but that could be handled another way. Since are developers are now stuck with plain HRF file, I guess those who don't want to pay 7,5 EUR, can easily switch to any other free program, since they do have basic features, and at this moment there is no such a big difference. HTPoli still have some features that are not in any other program, and hopefully in the recent months, having access to same data as other tools, HTPoli will prove to be the best Hattrick tool. So, my suggestion is to stick with HTPoli. Please don't send me tons of email saying my decision is wrong. It's final. HT crew unfortunatelly made a decission, which effects me too much in a negative way, so I had to make my decision. In a couple of days, new HTPoli will be released which will comply with CHPP rules. 12. September 2003. Build 316 has been released. If you have downloaded build 315, please replace it with this one. By mistake I left some debuging code in that build, which creates file c:\HTPoli.txt on your disk. You can freely delete this file. 11. September 2003. Build 315 has been released. Main reason is that I noticed that sometimes HRF files could be loaded into HTPoli with season/week set to 0. I have added two new columns (season and week) to the 'Manage HRF files' dialog, so you can detect such HRF files and delete them. 1. September 2003. Build 314 has been released. September 2003. I've been checking a little how things are with that cracked version of HTPoli. Unfortunatelly I don't like the situation. I warned that I do have a way to find out who is using cracked version, and that I will publish team IDs of those. If this won't stop people from using cracked version, I will cancel free version of HTPoli and introduce online code checking, and report all those who use cracks to HT team. OK, for the start here are team ID's of those that use cracked version (just couple of them), just to show you that I really have this data. For now I have deleted last number. Look guys/girls, I've been fair. I promissed good tool for Hattrick players, I promissed basic functionality for free. I delivered both, I hope. However, using cracked version is not fair from your side. 5 EUR is not much. I am sure most of you can afford it. If you can not, please use free version, don't use key generators. That's illegal, and it spoils my fun in implementing new features. And, what's more, some of you are even paying for HT supporter. So, they can afford to pay fee every month, and can not afford to pay one time fee of 5 EUR, so they use cracked version. Not nice. HTPoli is used by more than 7000 users and less than 1% of them paid for supporter. Which is really small amount, considering how much work I spend on Poli. If I'd spend all that time working on something profitable, trust me, I could afford to buy myself a car. I will rest for one-two weeks. If by that time I still find users with cracked version, I will take mesures mentioned above. I will cancel free version (after 30 days), and introduce online registration checking. If some of you can't be fair to me, as much as I am conserned I can develope HTPoli for those 50 people who paid for supportership. I do not plan to spend more and more time developing better protection for HTPoli. 31. August 2003. There was another problem that occured due to new stuff at hattrick. TM helper couldn't have parsed the nationality. This is fixed in build 312. 29. August 2003. With new supporter features and other recent changes on Hattrick, I had to release new version. Since there were changes in HTML, my parser had some problems, so I had to fix that. Please download build 311. I have received most of the translations, so in a day or two I will upload updated language files. 27. August 2003. I have recently found out that crack for HTPoli exists. I sure hope you don't use it. I work very hard to improve HTPoli for you, and supportership is really not so expensive. Besides it makes fool of all those who paid for Poli, while they could get crack for free. Note that I do have a way to find out who is using cracked version. And I will protect me and all the others who paid for HTPoli. If I find out that people really use that crack, I will protect HTPoli even better, and I will probably cancel freeware version. This way, those of you who use cracked version will not only lose your full cracked version, you will also lose freeware version. Of course, this will also affect those who use freeware version (and do not use cracked version), since they will also lose possibility to use freeware version. But they will be able to say "thank you" to those who use cracked version, since I will publish their team IDs. For now I will not do anything, I will just monitor, how many people use cracked version. But if I find out that somebody actually uses it, I will take those steps described above. 21. August 2003. It still needs some language updates (they always come after final release), but all the functionality is there.
